The time stamp ensures the file hasn't been changed since the moment the log was concluded.

For that reason this stamp is a separate file, because only this way can we ensure the log file is immutable.

This mixture of letters and numbers refer to the most technical part of the time stamp and, in a simplified way, we can say it's the encrypted code for confirming the veracity of the log file data.
